Meet Kika – VICOBA

Christopher (almost 80 years old) one of the members of Kika- VICOBA, he was very excited to show us his banana plantations which he named “VICOBA” he has set up a model garden in the village, a great encouragement to his group members and the community at large and he is still dreaming big at his age. Christopher hopes to expand his VICOBA banana plantation in 2019 and also help others in the community do the same to ensure food security in the entire village.
He is happy that the Centre has also provided so many training opportunities, he is now a community counselor offering counseling to the young and old, and this was made possible by the counseling training he received at the Kitega Centre.
