Ebenezer Community Health Centre Opens Its Doors: Hope and Healing for Katungulu

A new chapter of dignity and care has begun in Katungulu, as the Ebenezer Community Health Centre officially opens its doors to serve the community.

Built through the collective effort of the Kitega Community Centre and its partners, the facility stands as a symbol of faith in action, bringing quality healthcare closer to families who previously had to walk long distances to access medical attention.

The centre is already welcoming patients from Katungulu and the surrounding villages. With a full-time nurse, two health workers, and a visiting doctor, Ebenezer offers essential services, including outpatient care, a pharmacy, laboratory testing, and a soon-to-be fully equipped maternity section.

For many residents, this marks the first time they can receive treatment within their own community. Mothers, children, and the elderly are now finding compassionate care just a few steps from home and the joy on their faces tells the story of what access truly means.
