Blessings from Riverside to Kitega – Uganda: It is all about bringing God’s Kingdom
In November 2017, David Clemy visited Riverside Evangelical church Ayr and shared about the work going on at the Kitega Community Centre Uganda, It was a blessing. We are excited to see more blessings flowing between Riverside Evangelical Church and Kitega Community Centre.
Four Community groups will have an opportunity to grow 4 acres of Maize and sell the maize when they harvest to improve their agricultural income.
This is Tusuubira VICOBA group, pausing for a photograph. The group members mainly practice agriculture to earn a living, however lack of access to land and capital to rent land makes it difficult for them to practice agriculture. With some support from Kitega Centre, the group will be able to grow atleast one acre of Maize
The Children at Katungulu School now have shoes and project Porridge, it is now fun to come to go to school. The teachers also received their salaries for 2017.
The Teachers at Katungulu school will also have accommodation at the school, bringing them closer to their pupils and reducing on transport costs.

The children and students with disabilities at the centre are now doing a small enterprise that will help them learn how to rear Poultry but also sell some hens and eggs
