We came to the Kitega Centre and were thrilled to meet David, his team and the wonderful community they serve. Ann was fascinated by the jewellery and craftwork being produced and sold by the women’s group. I was delighted to see first hand the impact of the church and community mobilisation process. You can sense the Holy Spirit moving, the signs are everywhere – the excitement of the children in school, the pride of the women at work and the income generation from the emerging businesses. It’s all about education and economic empowerment to deliver transformation.”
Both Ann and myself were moved by the focus on the disabled, widows and orphans. Although we were only able to stay a short time we have already become ambassadors for Kitega.
